Ciao Everyone, we arrived in Italy safe and sound! It was a long journey, but well worth it. Everyone is settling in nicely and all of the students seem extremely happy to be here. We will be keeping this blog up to date so you can follow your students experience abroad.

- Welcome to the Trulaske College of Business (TCOB) Study Abroad ITALY Program! This summer, over 50 TCOB students are having the time of their life living, studying, and traveling throughout Italy. The program is based in Bergamo, Italy however weekends are free, so students have the opportunity to travel all around Europe and experience many different cultures! Four student managers will be accompanying the students to Italy this summer and serving as program facilitators. They will be updating this blog throughout the summer to keep you updated on summer activities and hopefully help you learn more about the program! Their profiles are below if you would like to learn more about them. I am a second year student manager with the Bergamo, Italy program. I am a 22 year old Marketing major from St. Louis Missouri.
I studied in Bergamo, Italy in the summer of 2007, I absolutely love the city, so much that I wanted to return and help students enjoy the city as much as I did. Through my experience as a student manager I have had the opportunity to travel to eleven different European nations, and I have met hundreds of new people. Study abroad is truly the experience of a lifetime! If you have a child who is a student in the program, I assure you that they will come home viewing the world and life in general in a new light!

I'm so excited to back in Bergamo! This is my third summer here, and my second as a student manager. The town is great, and exploring is my favorite thing to do.
I 22 years old and am from St. Louis, Missouri (Lafayette HS, for all those other STLers who want to know) and just finished my senior year in the Journalism School at Mizzou and graduated in May. I left Mizzou with a Strat Comm major at the J-School and am currently working on my portfolio--seeing all the art of Europe is a great source of inspiration.
This summer I will spend my weekends in Berlin, Germany; Ibiza, Spain; and Nice, France--and hopefully a few day trips to Venice and Lake Como. In years past I have visited all over Italy, Munich, Barcelona, and Prague. I cannot wait to keep everyone updated on all the fun things happening in and around Bergamo, Italy this summer! I am so excited to be back in Bergamo this year. It is my second year in Italy and my first year as a student manager. I had such a phenomenal time last year that I knew I had to come back. It is the experience of a lifetime and everyone is going to have a blast.
I am a Senior Accountancy major at Mizzou and I am from Kirkwood, Missouri (Go Pioneers!). I love to play sports as I am very competitive and hate to lose. Soccer is my true love, but I also like to play basketball and golf (I need to work on my irons...) Last year I visited Barcelona, Cinque Terra, and London and was fortunate enough to see a AC Milan play As Roma in the San Siro, which is the largest stadium in Italy!
I have an older brother who is getting married this summer and an older sister who just recently got married. I also have a little sister who is coming to Mizzou this fall!
Well, I hope you know a little more about me, and I can't wait for everyone to have a blast this summer in Italy.

My name is Kelsey Stokes and I am from Kansas City, Missouri.. (this is usually where people make a comment about how bad our sport's teams are.. but I still love them!) I am 21 years old and have one older sister. I also have two dogs which I miss more than anything but I am so happy to be back in Italy for my second summer! It is beautiful and I have fallen in love with the Bergamo area. My favorite part about being here is the scenery and relaxing atmosphere.
Last summer I was able to visit Switzerland, Barcelona, Venice, Lake Como, and Cinque Terre. Each place was very different yet unbelievable. EJ and I even went skydiving in Switzerland! This summer I will be traveling all over Europe and I am thrilled! I hope you will enjoy this blog and look at the pictures often. :)
